After a year’s closure due to Covid, our beautiful Park is once again filled with visitors from near and far – soaking up the sun on the 9-acre lawn, launching tubes, canoes, and kayaks for a lazy afternoon float down the famous Batten Kill or enjoying sparkling evening events surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Rural Museum of the Year 2019 – New York & Best Local Community Park – New York
Funding Provided for Anniversary Celebration and Exhibit
The Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council and Humanities, NY have provided funding supporting the Georgi’s upcoming 30th Anniversary Celebration and Exhibit “Glory Days: An Era of Industry on the Battenkill”. LARAC has provided $1,600 and Humanities, NY has provided $500 in support of the Georgi Museum and the new exhibit.
The Georgi receives Grant Funding!
In support of the Georgi’s Events in the Community Park on July 30th with the Mettawee River Theater Company and August 1st for the Washington county Band and Salem Rotary Ice Cream Social, Stewart’s Shops granted the Georgi $750 as well as providing Ice Cream to the Salem Rotary.
