The Georgi on the Battenkill Community Park and Museum is nestled along the river in Shushan, NY, just west of the Vermont Border. The Battenkill wraps around the property, nearly surrounding the lush lawns and beautiful gardens.
The Community Park hosts many public events as well as private affairs and weddings. The Mettawee River Theater Company, Hubbard Hall, and Washington County Band have performed in the Community Park.
The Georgi Museum is currently exhibiting Medieval and Renaissance Italian Panel Paintings, as well as the Georgi Gems and Minerals, featuring over 25 rare samples.
The Community Room is ideal for meetings and events. It is often used to host small performances, family gatherings, birthday parties and exhibits. This space also transforms into a convenient Bridal suite.
The Georgi is a New York State Fishing Access Point, and fly fisherman are often seen wading and casting. The Park is nearly surrounded by the Battenkill, and a great location launch canoes, kayaks and tubes.
